When every muscle is burning. When your lungs are searching for oxygen in the light air. When your heart rate no longer corresponds to pace. You want your gear to be working as hard as you. That’s why The North Face developed FUTURELIGHT; a customisable breathable-waterproof fabric.
It’s engineered using nano-spinning technology that adds air permeability to a waterproof membrane for the first time. This means that whatever your pace in the mountains, you can keep the Impendor Pants on all day. On top of this, they’re made from recycled nylon and impregnated with a non-PFC durable water repellent, so it has excellent sustainability credentials, too.
These outer layer pants are packed full of features, like full side zips for easy on-off over a base layer and boots, and hems that are drawstring adjustable to fit snugly over different types of boots. The taped seams and the nature of the fabric ensure your range of motion isn’t restricted even when scrambling and climbing and reflective logos will help you stay visible during early morning summit pushes.
